Chris Townsend

Chris is an experienced criminal lawyer, who strives to achieve the best outcome for all clients.

Chris graduated from Murdoch University, with a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology), and thereafter a Juris Doctor before being admitted in October 2013. He has since obtained a Master of Laws specialising in Criminal Practice, from the University of Wollongong.

When not practicing law, Chris is involved in the College of Law both with respect to teaching and mentoring soon to be admitted lawyers.

Otherwise, Chris has appeared in all jurisdictions including the Magistrates Court, District and Supreme Court, the Court of Appeal and the High Court.

Chris has a particular interest in appellate law but is otherwise keen to assist clients on all matters, at all levels of complexity.

In his spare time, Chris enjoys travelling, watching the AFL (a long term Carlton supporter) and attending music events.
